DANCE BRIDGE UPDATES & INFORMATION

Annual "DANCE IS FOR EVERY BODY!" Showcase
Applications Now Available

2009 DANCE is for EVERY BODY! (DEB) showcase.  This annual weekend showcase is set for Saturday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 22 from 1 – 5 p.m. in the Canyon Theater of the Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, CO.  Open to all genres of dance, this free showcase is part entertainment, part education, and a great outreach program.  It provides the dance community with another opportunity to share their talents, engage new audiences, advertise upcoming events, classes, and activities, and to come together as a whole for the community at large.

Participants may present work-in-progress or completed dances, structured improvisations, lecture-demonstratations, mini-classes with audience participation, or original short dance films.  Be creative!  Time slots are 5 to 15 minutes maximum.  The opportunity for more than one time slot “might” be available later on the same day or one on each day depending on how many applications we receive. Let me know in your description how much time you want (5 - 15 minutes) and if you are interested in an additional time option.
