Breakthrough Arts is a free, after school prevention program for high school age teens. Breakthrough Arts offers free process-based arts classes, a mentorship project, and leadership and performance opportunities for Boulder area high school age teens. Classes include visual arts, mural making, hip hop, Capoeira, Latin dance, creative writing, photography, and more. Breakthrough Arts' mission is to provide a safe, drug-free learning environment for teens during the high risk after school hours and to help teens find their passion, develop their creativity, build developmental assets, and create lasting connections with their community.
