Artist Statement

I'm new to the artist world and loving every bit of it. For years, I was visiting art galleries and shows, and going to art openings. In 2005, I decided I need to find a passion for my retirement years and art was where my heart was, so after taking a couple of drawing classes at Front Range Community College, I went on and advanced my lessons with artists from all around Boulder.

Although I tend to paint lots of horses, I'm working at venturing out into the more abstract mixed media world.

I'm enjoying every bit of this new found experience, and only wish I had found it sooner.
